Before I started at Strijder Personal Training, I had no idea what I was doing in the gym. Fortunately, I got the guidance I needed at Strijder. The trainer taught me the exercises during personal training sessions and prepared me for the small group trainings. These varied trainings are for a maximum of 10 people. Everyone trains at their own level and there is always personalised attention, for example if you have an injury. I am now fitter, lost some pounds and eat healthier thanks to the nutrition guidance that the trainer gives with the support of a handy app with tasty and easy recipes. Because of the weekly menus in the app, shopping is now a piece of free! Do you hesitate to exercise (again)? From experience I say: Feels good!

Six months ago I decided to change something about my weight. I didn’t feel good about myself anymore and I had really gained a lot of weight in a short time. Then I made an appointment at Strijder Personal Training and he made a nutrition schedule for me and I also started exercising. Since then, we have been weighing my weight and measureing my waist circumference every week. In total, 13.5 cm of my waist circumference is gone and I have lost 15 kilos so far. Without Samora Strijder I would never have succeeded! He is really the best Personal Trainer who really looks at how you can get fitter or lose more weight in your situation. I wasn’t really a sporty person and had never really exercised seriously at all. But Samora helps you very well with this and gives you a lot of motivation!

I can highly recommend the personal training of Strijder. Pretty soon after I registered, an introduction and intake took place and we set various goals, including achieving a number of military fitness requirements within 6 weeks. After achieving this, we always set new goals together in the following weeks (including weight loss, 10K distance within a set time). We achieve all the goals we set, the results are also really visible and I feel much fitter. The entire process was also accompanied by a thorough nutritional advice that fit the objectives, but is also easy to maintain. Samora’s approach is realistic, effective and takes place through a very pleasant collaboration. With Strijder you can certainly fulfill your training goals.

I experience the counselling of Samora as particularly positive. This is on the one hand due to his involvement. Even when he is on vacation, he checks if I do my exercises and keep to the nutrition agreements. On the other hand, he shows me that I can get more out of myself than I think.

For about 2 years I was in the gym several times a week to get fit for current job, a job that after all demands a lot of my body. Because I was totally new to this world and my motivation was not top, I chose Personal Training classes at Samora at the time to be admitted to the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. By training 1-on-1 with someone who has the right knowledge of the profession and motivates you excellently to continue, the results came faster than expected! I am now a Marechaussee and a year later I contacted again for personal counselling. I started training to get rid of long-term back problems. With 3x/wk 1h of training in 3 months I not only managed to clearly improve my muscles and strength, I also lost 10kg, waist from 98cm to 84cm and a BMI from 31 to 27. Confronting yourself is not always easy. To actually sign up, I had to gather some courage. But how incredibly happy I am that Samora has come my way. The first practises I was still in the resistance, but as the training progressed I got more nice in it. And Samora knows no mercy and continues to challenge me every training session and de-wise me. Thanks to the right guidance and nutritional advice, I had quickly achieved my goals. To stay fit, I then started taking HIT training. Two days a week and give everything for half an hour! Been practising at Strijder Personal Training for several months. I like this very much. Samora constantly varies from exercises so that my body stays stimulated and I continue to enjoy it. Super happy with the Personal Training from Samora. Professional, varied and always cheerful. From mid-September 2020, Samora will guide me with varied workouts in the gym, workouts for home and nutrition counselling. The result, now 3 months later, can be there…. although I say it myself :-) Almost lost 8 kilos and 8 cm of my waist circumference. And more importantly, much fitter and more delicious in my skin.
